This is our “Flat Fatty” trigger shoe on a Glock Performance Trigger (GPT). The new “Flat Fatty” trigger is CP’s latest version of our Enhanced Duty trigger. The Flat Fatty trigger shoe is exactly what the name says; it’s a fatter version of our wildly popular Flat Faced EDT V.2 Trigger Shoe. The fatter or wider surface area allows for additional vertical serrations thus giving you greater traction and surface area for a better finger to trigger engagement. This trigger will maintain all factory safeties.
TO BE CLEAR, we have removed the plastic Glock trigger shoe from the GPT trigger bar and replaced it with our aluminum Flat Fatty trigger shoe giving you all the benefits of our Trigger Shoe and Glocks new Performance Trigger system. Features and improvements our trigger shoe adds to the GPT are as follows. Internal Pre-Travel Reduction, Over-Travel Stops, Wider Trigger Shoe, Flater & Serrated Trigger, Trigger Breaks at 90 degrees (slight variation on models), More Responsive Break, Aluminum Shoe (machined from solid T6061 aluminum). Combining these features with the improvements the GPT brings to the game over the Glock Stock/Factory trigger that comes in the gun. Thus making it what we believe is the perfect trigger for your Glock Gen 5 9mm. FITS ONLY THE FOLLOWING GLOCK GEN 5 MODELS: G17, G19, G19X, G26, G34, G45, G47.
The following is Glock’s description of their GPT:
“The GLOCK Performance Trigger meets a different set of criteria for those looking for a lighter trigger pull and ergonomics in a performance setting, all while utilizing a newly designed flat-faced trigger and maintaining the same safety features of the GLOCK Safe Action System. Fits: G17Gen5, G19Gen5, G19X, G26Gen5, G34gen5, G45, G47. The GLOCK Performance Trigger will not come installed on any factory models. It is available as an accessory only and must be installed by a certified GLOCK Armorer.”
Finally, the “Flat Fatty” trigger shoe and trigger safety is machined from 6061T aluminum and Type 2 anodized for added protection. It is then permanently mounted on the beautifully polished GPT trigger bar. The goal is to deliver a clean breaking ergonomically correct trigger which will give the shooter clean, repeatable trigger pulls every time.*This trigger shoe and system is designed to be a “Drop-In” item, and will replace some of the OEM/Factory parts that came in the gun originally. Continuous Precision still cautions customers to seek out professional gunsmiths and or certified Glock armorers for installation. We will send the original packaging that the Glock Performance Trigger was packaged in by the manufacturer (Glock).
